The McDonald's Restaurant Network Transformation by AT&T is a managed service that includes equipment as well as options for an internet connection and wireless backup.
Service & Equipment Options:
Equipment configurations are based on three general classifications:
Standard Service for Traditional Restaurants
Standard Service for Traditional Restaurants No Drive-Thru
Non-Traditional Restaurant (with Business Wi-Fi only or Business Wi-Fi and Guest Wi-Fi)
Example: A hospital restaurant that has a lease restriction on public Wi-Fi.
You will have the option to select additional equipment as desired.
Wireless backup units are available to provide connectivity in the event of an internet outage via AT&T cellular service. In restaurants where AT&T cellular
service may not be technically sufficient, a third-party cellular provider is an option.
All AT&T Wi-Fi devices will be monitored by AT&T.
Broadband Options:
Select one of the available broadband speed tiers for the restaurant.
Provide internet connection/broadband. (O/O provided broadband)
A Letter-of-Authorization is required for non-AT&T provided broadband before installation and support is provided by AT&T.
Regardless of selection, AT&T will provide monitoring of internet connections/broadband. A service package will be identified for existing restaurants.
